Research interests: behavioral economics, stated preference methods, non-market valuation, choice modeling, cultural heritage.

I am a researcher at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw (Chair of Microeconomics), and a PhD student in the Quantitative Psychology and Economics program at the Interdisciplinary Doctoral School, University of Warsaw. I hold an MA and BA in Economics from the University of Warsaw and have studied in Italy through the Erasmus+ program at the University of Cagliari and Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna

My research focuses on applied microeconomics; I have worked on projects using behavioral and experimental methods to study people’s decisions in cultural, environmental, health, and online privacy contexts. I am also interested in understanding preferences regarding the appearance and use of physical surroundings and how interactions with these influence human wellbeing.

My PhD thesis explores the non-market valuation of cultural goods, with a special focus on historic properties, and aims to develop a valuation framework to inform public cultural policies. Currently, I lead the project “Utilizing stated-preference-based valuation methods for cultural heritage management: conservation vs. adaptive reuse”, funded by the Polish National Science Center. I teach Microeconomics and Cultural Economics courses.

In the winter semester of 2024/25, I was a visiting researcher at the Department of Resource Economics and Environmental Sociology, University of Alberta, Canada, funded by the Excellence Initiative of the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education. In the winter semester of 2023/24, I worked on the RECHARGE project at the Erasmus School of History, Culture, and Communication, Erasmus University Rotterdam, Netherlands. In the academic year 2022/23, I conducted research at the Wirth Institute for Austrian and Central European Studies, University of Alberta, Canada, funded by the Wirth Doctoral Research Fellowship Award.

Outside academia, I enjoy outdoor pursuits that combine breathtaking views, fresh air, and a good workout—especially hiking, kayaking, cross-country running, and skiing. Also, a cinephile.
